About

I wrote my first mystery at the age of 19 while in the Army. I sent the "Slight Case of Fear" ms to Alfred Hitchcock who promptly sent my first rejection letter. After a couple more submissions and as many rejections I quit writing untill our kids were in school, at which time I started writing for our local weekly paper. Eventualy giving that up because I was working full time at Ford Motor and operating my photography studio in a shopping mall. I closed my photography business in 1988 and retired from Ford in 2000. I was given the opportunity to become one of two writers for a weekly childrens video called KidzCan, which I did for a year until the producers moved out of town. I started carving wood as a hobby, but now I do very little photography and very little carving in the round, concentrating on writing and soon chainsaw carving with my son.
