November is National Novel Writing Month, so I am trying to finish my story The Haunting of Fenwick House. At the present I have written 16,000 words. My goal is 50,000; I have a ways to go and about 6 weeks to do it. I need to be at 25,000 by November 1st if I am to have a chance. I have been working on it for 2 years and have 16,000 words. I had better get busy.

I have 19,000 words now, and 5 weeks to go. I need to get 6,000 more in 7 days, if I have a chance to reach my goal. I am getting worried.

I did not make my goal, and have put The Haunting on hold for now while I work on the Super Sleuths series.

Hannah's Hats is ready to publish in eBook, but I have to format it for Smashwords and Amazon. I have 3 chapters of the next book of the series.

It is nearing hummingbird season. We have 17 feeders to clean, fill, and hang before May 1. Last year I got the birds to eat from the feeders while I held them. I hope to go further this year. Hopefuly I will be able to post a video in the next months.

Bees covering the hummingbird feeders are a big problem this year. In the past Vics Vapo Rub worked well, but the bees have been ignoring the smell lately. I don't know what I am going to do.

I just published my first picture book on www.smashwords.com. To read it go to their web site, and in top right corner enter my name eddie lay, you will be taken to a list of my books. Click on the cover of Mooses' Don't Fly and buy. It is free, and you will not be charged.

After reading any of my books I would appreciate it if you would return here and tell me what you think of it; good and bad.

Hannah's Hats was published as paperback in 2006. I decided to make it a series, but since it is now out of print, I have made it an eBook. The series will be Super Sleuths Inc.

As the Pendulum Swings is finished. It has been written and self edited several times. I would like to get the opinion of several Beta readers before sending it out. The word count didn't make it to novel status but I can live with that.
